Toyota Highlander Hybrid

Hybrid Synergy Drive

Maximum Seating – 5
4 door SUV
3.3L hybrid-gasoline engine

The Highlander uses a 650V electric motor in conjunction with a six-cylinder gasoline engine for an estimated fuel economy of 27/25 MPG.

The Camry Hybrid can run on any combination of the two power sources.  Power is transferred to the front wheels via a continuously variable transmission (CVT).

Since the gas engine of the Toyota Camry Hybrid will shut down at a stop and under some driving conditions, the air-conditioning and power-steering systems are driven electrically and powered off of the vehicle's batteries. This maximizes fuel economy and guarantees that the air-conditioning will continue to operate.

Our Highlanders contain Toyota's STAR safety system, featuring:

• anti-lock brakes
• traction control
• electronic brake-force distribution
• brake assist
• enhanced vehicle stability control
• with electronic power steering

The vehicles also include a touch-screen navigation system and a stand-alone backup camera, with a towing capacity up to 5000 pounds.

Our SUVs feature Toyota's advanced VDIM stability system. The system integrates:

• part-time four-wheel drive with intelligence,
• electronic throttle control,
• with true electronically controlled active steering.
